The Mysterious Mask of Miasma
“They say the mask holds... powers — strange ones.”
“They say the mask holds... powers — strange ones.”
The Mysterious Mask of Miasma is a half-hour parody of classic radio horror shows like The Hall of Fantasy and The Sealed Book. A young anthropology professor and his wife travel to a remote African valley in search of a fabled mask that can grant the wearer any wish. They are unaware that a shady villain and his moll are following them with plans to steal the mask and cash in on its mystical power. The mask, however, is cursed and protected by an ancient supernatural guardian that dispatches all in its way. Think The Thin Man meets The Monkey’s Paw meets King Solomon's Mines. (NOTE: The Mysterious Mask of Miasma will be performed on August 12th and 13th in Richmond VA, by The On the Air Radio Players under a nonexclusive license. It is available for additional production.)
